Tapir Type projects are made by me, Sasha Kopf, and this site is a showcase for the art and other stuff that I have designed and created over the years.

A lot of my projects are made entirely by hand, meaning that many things Tapir Typed are absolutely one-of-a-kind.

Tapir Type is named after my favorite animal, the Malayan tapir. This was suggested to me by my mom, who thought that my unique handwriting (which people sometimes think is typed) could be named for this great ungulate, pictured in the sketches throughout the site.
